HANDS OF LIGHT, HEALING THROUGH HUMAN ENERGY FIELD
Hands of Light: A Guide to Healing Through the Human Energy Field, by Barbara Ann Brennan, is a scientist's look at the field of bioenergetic healing, offering specific
techniques towards expanding perceptual tools of healing, seeing auras, understanding psychodynamics and the human energy field, and spiritual healing. Trained as a physicist and psychotherapist, Brennan has spent the
last 15 years studying the human energy field and working as a healer. Hands of Light goes beyond conventional, objective knowledge while retaining scientific clarity. It details a study of the human energy field
and how it is intimately connected to a person's health and well being and contains essential information for anyone involved in healing and conscious health care, including people seeking to heal themselves. Science
and spirituality may currently be at odds, but fortunately there will always be scientists who are spiritual seekers, and it is in the mingling of the two worlds where wisdom is born. A former NASA scientist and
atmospheric physicist provides the first in-depth study of the human energy field--known in lay terms as "aura." With many color illustrations and drawings, this volume presents techniques on the leading edge
of new consciousness and new medicine. (Holism)

HE WALKED THE AMERICAS --Hansen
Anthropologist L. Taylor Hansen, long fascinated with Indian history and legends, traces legends of Indians of the Pacific and American continent which all seem to include an
account of a white bearded healer who visited them anciently (probably during the 1st century) taught each group a philosophy of love, performed miraculous healings, curiously controlled forces of nature and established
a Priesthood of 12 elders. After traveling throughout the Americas, he departed by sea from the ancient city of Tula on the Yucatan pennisula with the promise that he would return in the future. Hansen never claims this
legendary healer was Christ, but the similarities are remarkable. The Book of Mormon reports that Christ also visited the American continent. It is reported Hansen had never heard of the Book of Mormon when he wrote his
account. Interesting read, particularly for those wondering if Christ visited other lands.

THE HEALING SECRET OF THE AGES --Ponder
This is a powerful book. The author manages to weave basic Christian religious principles with today's more metaphysical approach and the result is a book that offers
great insight and potential for helping the reader. The language is straight forward and clear. The diagrams help the reader understand the author's explanation of the way in which our thoughts affect our body. She
focuses on the 12 mind powers located within the vital nerve centers of the body. Those who are reading the newer works by Caroline Myss will be struck with the similarities of the philosphy and message of these two
authors. Although out of print, this is a must read for all who face the pressures of life in this much touted new millennium.

THE HISTORICAL JESUS AND THE MYTHICAL CHRIST --Gerald Massey
Reviewer: spartacus from the land of seekers. Massey is always very adamant and almost ruthless in approach. That is NOT why I think this is an excellent book,
though. Using his immense skill as an Egyptologist, Massey shows us incredible links to the Jesus story. Like other books I have read on paganism, the linkage is unignorable. One must read this to gain a perspective on
the links between ancient religions and Christianity.

HISTORY OF THE FIRST COUNCIL OF NICE --Dean Dudley
A World's Christian Convention A.D. 325 with a Life of Constantine. The words Council, Synod, and Convention are synonymous. There were many Councils held in
Christendom before that of Nice; but they were not Ecumenical, that is, general or universal. The Council of Nice set the example of trying to compel Christians to adopt its modes of faith. That plan was not so fair as
those pursued by the great philosophers. This book contains information on the life of Constantine being decidedly the most conspicuous figure in the picture.

The Hoax of the 20th Century -- Arthur Butz
First published in 1976, The Hoax of the Twentieth Century is the seminal work of Hololocaust Revisionism and still the most
widely-read on the subject. In 369 pages of penetrating study and lucid commentary, Dr. Butz gives the reader a graduate course on the subject of the Jews of World War II Europe--concluding not only that they were not
virtually wiped out; but what's more, that no evidence exists to date to confirm that there was ever any Hitler government attempt to do do. Chapter by solidly referenced chapter, Dr. Butz applies the scientist's
rigorous clinical technique to every cornerstone of the legend. He focuses on the post-war war crimes trials where the prosecution's "evidence" was falsified and secured by coercion and even torture. He
re-examines the very German records so long misrepresented; he reviews the demographic statistics which do not allow for the loss of the "Six Million"; he re-evaluates the concept and technical feasibility of
the "gas chambers" with some startling conclusions, and separates the cold facts from the sheer tonnage of myth and propaganda that has served as a formidable barrier to the truth for forty years. This is the
book that has caused unprecedented shockwaves throughout the academic and political world. Its open sale has been banned in an increasing number of countries, including West Germany and Canada. It is a book violently
denounced by those unable to refute any part of its thesis--the most hysterical reaction to it coming from those whose own historical assertions cannot withstand the light of honest review.

THE HOLY SCIENCE --Swami Sri Yukteswar
Reviewer: Eric S Lloyd from Dallas, Tx
The Jnana Avatar (Incarnation of Knolege) Swami Yukteshwar has a very insightfull way of looking into the Vedas as
well as the Bible. I had learned of him from Paramahansa Yogananda's book "Autobiography of a Yogi". Sri Yukteshwar in my opinion has been severly under-praised. He is a brilliant soul, who never sought out
any type of publicity. This book explains the Yugas (eras) in a very different way than commonly understood, and I have to agree with this author. This book isn't very long, but it is packed with a lot of useful
information. The author died somewhere between 1920-1940, and it's hard to believe it was so long ago, his vibrations come alive while reading the book.

HOW CAN I HELP? --Ram Dass
Not a day goes by without our being called upon to help one another--at home, at work, on the street, on the phone. We do what we can. Yet so much comes up to
complicate this natural response: "Will I have what it takes?" "How much is enough?" "How can I deal with suffering?" "And what really helps, anyway?"
In this practical
helper's companion, the authors explore a path through these confusions, and provide support and inspiration fo us in our efforts as members of the helping professions, as volunteers, as community activists, or simply
as friends and family trying to meet each other's needs. Here too are deeply moving personal accounts: A housewife brings zoo animals to lift the spirits of nursing home residents; a nun tends the wounded on the first
night of the Nicaraguan revolution; a police officer talks a desperate father out of leaping from a roof with his child; a nurse allows an infant to spend its last moments of life in her arms rather than on a hospital
machine. From many such stories and the authors' reflections, we can find strength, clarity, and wisdom for those times when we are called on to care for one another. How Can I Help? reminds us just how much we have to
give and how doing so can lead to some of the most joyous moments of our lives.

How to Stay Alive in the Woods --Bradford Angier
For over twenty years, sportsmen, hunters, and camping families have been carrying this book with them every time they venture into the woods. It is a life-saving tool
which details all of nature's resources and shows--in 26 clearly written, illustrated chapters--how to find food, water, warmth, and shelter when lost or stranded. The book is full of secrets that can help save time,
energy--and even lives. For example, it tells: how to spark a fire by using a drop of water as a lens; how to obtain meat and fish by primitive means; and how to protect yourself against natural hazards. Using these
tips and hints and native ingenuity the author contends that it is possible to keep alive in the wilderness indefinitely.

HUMANITY'S EXTRATERRESTRIAL ORIGINS --Dr. Arthur David Horn
The material presented in this book gives a good introduction to the best available reasons to believe that what we now would call extraterrestrial beings were
involved with Earth's origins and may have mixed some of their genetics with ours.
Sitchin's view on the 12th planet may not be quite correct, but his basic message should not be obscured by his bad astronomy.
He does successfully point out that maybe those "gods" of yesteryear were physical DNA-based primate beings who were not human. Based on the oldest available texts, this seems a very reasonable viewpoint.
